SAR is out of intensive care and in the
recovery room. No, it wasn't the drama in Washington – although
that's enough to cripple anyone – but some internal remodeling the
doctors' insisted on. We'll be back in a few days.
Everything here is someone's opinion.
Keep fightin' for freedom and justice, beloveds, but don't you forget to have fun doin' it. Lord, let your laughter ring forth. Be outrageous, ridicule the fraidy-cats, rejoice in all the oddities that freedom can produce. And when you get through kickin' ass and celebratin' the sheer joy of a good fight, be sure to tell those who come after how much fun it was.

Speedy recovery!
Hope everything goes well. We miss you. I really appreciate and use the service you provide. I write a blog myself, and I don't know how you do it. I find the commitment too much and just stop writing periodically, but you churn yours out every day. Congratulations, and thank you. Again, I hope you get better soon('cause I'm selfish).
Very best wishes. Don't worry about us, we can look after ourselves though I'm sure you're missed by many. The most important thing is your health, do take care and don't rush anything. Thanks for your site.
best wishes for your health, and thanks for all you do
Get well soon!
Adding my best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery.
Be well, CKM!

Let’s Get This Class War Started
By Chris Hedges
http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/lets_get_this_class_war_started_20131020/
exactly the position I had convinced myself of while staring at the ceiling today. How we once were, how we have become and how much we deserve our fate if we do not get in the streets and...
And I don't see that happening until we get a lot further down the hole we've let them dig for us.
I may be well enough in a day or two to get back at the rabble rousing.
thanks to all for the encouragement.
ckm.
You are remembered.
Get well soon.
some thoughts about rousing the rabble -
the citoyens need not necessarily grab weapons - merely refuse to cooperate with business as usual - if 90% of life is "just showing up", as they say, what happens if 90% just don't show up?
the people, united, will never be defeated - uniting them won't be simple but unlikely things happen every day
mistah charley, ph.d. is quite right, the weapons the 90% have are the 'showing up' ones: If we don't show up to work, no matter how menial, the work doesn't get done - imagine trying to run this place with no fast food joints for lunch... at the other end the 90 percent could simply no shop. buy the groceries, but no new shirts, shoes, restruant meals, cars tvs phones all the stuff that enslaves us. A consumer society with no consumers and nothing to consume would be pretty impressive...
More and more I dream of variations of the Spanish student protests going global.
Hear, hear...that would be impressive, but my cynic self looks at all the people that could not be bothered to do without, or are just so disconnected that they would keep on slogging.
I can just imagine the fits DHS would have with a passive action like a non-consuming consumer. They would have to shift to 'message management' to make john public feel guilty for advancing the cause of Chaos, associate it with the bad guys de jure.
I wonder how the shutdowns impact the domstic intel collections. Somebody at least has to change the backup tapes....
