SAR #15034

History leaves scars.

On Balance: Immediately after Christie said the US needed a “balanced” approach to vaccinating children so parents could chose between science and fears, his office started re-balancing his position so he doesn't look like a complete vote-grubbing idiot. Which he is. Here's the deal: you get your kid vaccinated and then you can let him leave the house.

Once More, With Bad Feelings: Wages increased 0.3% in December, prices are up 1.3%. Victory is ours.

iFinance: Why has Apple, which earned $18 billion in profit last year and holds $178 billion in cash, borrowing $5 billion (on top of the $39 billion it has borrowed previously) to buy back its own stock? It's a tax dodge. Any questions?

Dear Senator Inhofe: The UN agrees with the scientists, 14 of the 15 hottest years on record have occurred since 2000. This is clearly the result of a conspiracy between CO2 and the atmosphere, which your committee should investigate.
