Missing
In Action:
Did you notice that the Clinton/Trump Commander In Chief beauty
contest did not touch on a single one of the largest threats to our
national security? Not one question on global warming. Nor on
ending fossil fuel extraction and use. Refugees and overpopulation
were ignored. The looting of the public by Wall Street and the
healthcare conglomerates was left not visited. Nor were surveillance
and the loss of Constitutional freedoms.
Privatization:
In Boston the cops' union is going to court to halt a program that
would require officers to wear body cameras, maintaining that such
cameras would impinge on the privacy of the officers while they are
impinging on the citizenry. What'ca hiding, officer?

Charity
Begins At Home:
An informed analysis of available Clinton Foundation data concludes
that "the
Clinton Foundation entities are part of a network that has defrauded
donors and created illegal private gains of approximately $100
billion in combined magnitude, and possibly more, since 23 October
1997."
For
example, “the
Clinton family’s mega-charity took in more than $140 million in
grants and pledges in 2013 but spent just $9 million on direct aid.
That's because the organization spent the vast bulk of its windfall
on administration, travel, salaries and bonuses, with the fattest
payouts going to family friends.”
Shoe,
Fitting: North
Korea has outlawed
sarcasm because Kim Jong-un fears people only agree with him
‘ironically’. And
we thought he was clueless.
Unclear
On The Concept:
In Europe at least two private corporations are accepting donations
(in the guise of negative-interest bonds) from the gullible and
promising to give back some of the money in the future. That's
investing with the new central-bank revised math.
Daycare
For Adults:
Experts, looking at the effectiveness of airport security after 15
years of TSA tinkering, concluded that is “largely a matter of
faith.” It is designed to make you feel better while making you
feel miserable.
Staged
and Coached:
Wells Farrago
Fargo claims
it has fired over 5,000 miscreant employees and low-level managers
for opening a couple of million phony accounts without their
customers' knowledge or permission – and then charging
the customers various
fees, issued them credit cards and in other ways lightening
their wallets while earning bonuses for themselves. In other words,
highly suspect finance,
as usual. Examine your bank statements, expect fraud.

Next major marketing campaign - Bottled Mountain Air. Bottled in, you guessed it, The Great Smoky Mountains.(Look for a list of National Parks with the greatest air pollution.)
Thanks for today's image - mostly in the dark and a diet of pasture enrichment - the American electorate.
Best Wishes to All
Good Weekend
Great minds think alike! CMK probably thought it too as he selected today's shot and given the 'theme' of today's post.
For far too long we have, not a good word for it but I want to say 'compelled' to vote for the least harmful candidate instead of demanding desperately needed reforms.
This is the problem with ONLY being allowed to vote for CANDIDATES and not the law itself! {We do, rarely, see referendums but they are mostly 'non-binding' like marijuana...and it ends with millions continuing to do time in for profit jails for minor possession...WTF?}
CKM told us yesterday about a strike by tens of millions of Native Americans and the media didn't mention a word.
Well, as I see it, your choices are A.) Strike until we get 'real reform' (It's gonna take longer than 24 hours.) or B.) Protest in the streets and have thousands brutalized by the minions of the slavers...and still not achieve ANYTHING!
STRIKE is our ONLY 'effective option'...and not a 'limited strike'...a 'universal strike!' where everybody, everywhere goes out AND STAYS OUT! Until those ruining the land capitulate.
Um, is it Friday yet? Must be...I need a drink, who's with me?
Wells Fargo: Correction.
while earning bonuses for themselves... and the executive managers who just fired them. The executives and investors/shareholders who also gained off of their theft have not returned any of their profits nor been penalized. Thus the final incentive remains untouched.
I'm just waiting for one of them to stand up and cry 'If it weren't for theft there wouldn't BE ANY business!'
Corruption as far as the eye can see and, incredibly, justice's blindness seems to have become contagious!
What a daming indictment, if it weren't for all the thievery we wouldn't HAVE an economy!
sheesh!
